This product is a PTFE (hydrophobic) syringe filter with excellent solvent resistance due to its hydrophobic membrane. It is ideal for corrosive samples, acid solutions, and alkaline volumes, as well as organic matrices like hexane. The diameter sizes are 13mm and 25mm, with pore sizes of 0.2μm and 0.45μm, and color-coded (purple and orange) for easy identification of the filters. However, this hydrophilic PTFE filter eliminates the need for such pre-treatment processes and utilizes a groundbreaking PTFE membrane that can be used with aqueous solvents. Additionally, the excellent chemical resistance inherent to PTFE remains intact, allowing for use with both organic and aqueous solvents, which eliminates the need for different filters and contributes to cost reduction.
